About The Position
Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center that provides a full range of medical specialties and health care services. The hospital boasts a state-of-the-art medical campus and is home to Flight For Life® Colorado. It features four trauma rooms, including a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, enabling them to provide life-saving care to severely ill and injured patients. The hospital has received Magnet designation and numerous other awards and accreditations from organizations such as the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, and The Joint Commission. St. Anthony Hospital combines a heritage of expert care with the latest in technology and innovation, offering opportunities to work in fast-paced environments specializing in trauma, cardiology, stroke, neurosciences, breast imaging, cancer/oncology care, and surgery. The 3rd Floor Med Surg Unit is a new 28-bed surgical unit specializing in post-operative care for general elective surgical cases, serving patients with a wide range of diagnoses requiring planned surgical intervention. It is a Magnet® designated, level one trauma center that fosters teamwork and provides growth pathways for staff interested in Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, and the OR.
Requirements
- Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus!
- RN License required
- Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Associates Degree in Nursing required
- Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
- One year experience preferred
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
- Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

- Relocation assistance up to $10,000 for those living greater than 50 miles from the facility
- $5.75/hr differential for Night Shift RN positions from 11pm to 7am
