RN Supervisor
About The Position
We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate RN Supervisor to provide person centered care to meet the social, physical, recreational, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents in our Friends Nursing Home. This is a full-time, 8-days biweekly, role from M-F 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and every other weekend (shift differential!) The RN Supervisor will be on the desk. Chandler Hall, a non-profit, Quaker facility, provides high-quality care for older adults in Newtown, Bucks County and offers a wide spectrum of services for individuals at all stages of the aging process including Community Living, Personal Care, Residential Hospice, Home Hospice, Independent Living, Respite Care, and Skilled Nursing Care.
Requirements
- Current license with the State of Pennsylvania for Registered Nurse.
- 2-3 years of RN experience required.
- Must maintain current CPR/AED Certification.
- Strong supervisory skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Clinical skills needed for resident population.
- Judgement and decision-making skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Long term care strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide person centered care to meet the social, physical, recreational, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents.
- Supervise staff and ensure quality care is delivered.
- Manage resident care plans and assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
