About The Position
Reunion Plaza Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee nursing services and resident care at its long-term and rehabilitative care facility. The position supervises charge nurses and other caregivers, ensures clinical systems and programs function as intended, and helps provide residents with quality, compassionate healthcare. The role supports the facility’s mission to provide clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services that meet the needs and expectations of patients and residents. The posting identifies this as a full-time weekend position in Texarkana, Texas.
Requirements
- Current, valid RN licensure in Texas.
- Management or supervisory experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Maintain nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of practice consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Observe patients, document care, and report changes in their conditions.
- Answer patient calls and determine how to assist them.
- Provide basic patient care and treatments.
- Work with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
- Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
- Implement and evaluate care plans.
- Identify and secure equipment and supplies.
- Direct and oversee subordinate staff, including organizing and coordinating their tasks and time allotments.
- Participate in duty assignments and monitor subordinate staff activities and performance.
- Evaluate staff performance and take appropriate disciplinary or training action.
- Monitor infection-control compliance.
- Investigate and document accidents and incidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
