Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is a 182-bed treatment facility, conveniently located in beautiful Oakland Park, FL that specializes in the successful treatment of substance abuse and mental health issues for youth, adults and seniors. This commitment extends to the family and community of our patients as a whole. The Admissions and Referral Supervisor, works under the supervision of the A&R Director. In this position, the individual will provide direct administrative oversight to A&R staff in the provision services in the admissions department to include: clinical evaluations, crisis intervention, coordination of referrals, verification of benefits, and the overall operations of the admissions department.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
BLS certification.
CPR certification.
Successful completion of restraining procedures training.
CPI within 30 days of employment.
Understanding of The Joint Commission (TJC), OSHA and state and federal regulatory requirements.
Must be able to prioritize workload and effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Focus on providing high quality patient care.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility or ER preferred.
