About The Position

The RN Staff Nurse delivers competent, individualized nursing care to patients and families, using the nursing process to support the established medical treatment plan. Working as part of a team, the nurse applies clinical judgment and evidence-based decision-making to meet each patient’s needs. The role emphasizes patient safety, advocacy, collaborative practice, professional communication, and exceptional customer relations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of direct nursing experience.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Active, unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Maintain primary residence in Texas and keep required licenses and credentials current throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• PALS or NRP certification and specialty certifications per unit guidelines are required after hire.
