About The Position

The RN Staff Nurse Ambulatory-Clinic provides patient care within an assigned department or unit as a member of the health care team, working under the direction of the clinical manager or designee and in accordance with the applicable Registered Nurse Standards and Scope of Practice. The nurse assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care according to Legacy Health System standards, including patient assessment and transfer standards. The role is for an ambulatory clinic in Gastroenterology.

Requirements

• Education as required by licensure.
• One year of registered nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing residency program equivalent in content, curriculum, and duration.
• Positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians, and the community.
• Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
• Current applicable state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• BSN or degree in progress is strongly preferred.
• A BSN may be required for specific assignments.
• Experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
• Additional clinical experience requirements may vary depending on the department.
