About The Position

Legacy Health is seeking an RN Staff Nurse for its ambulatory cardiology clinic. The nurse provides direct patient care, assesses patient needs, and helps guide patients toward appropriate care plans as part of a collaborative healthcare team. The role operates under the direction of the clinical manager or designee and follows the Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses and established Legacy Health System standards.

Requirements

• Education as required by licensure.
• One year of registered nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program or an equivalent nursing residency program in content, curriculum, and duration.
• Demonstrated positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians, and the community.
• Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
• Current applicable state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• BSN or progress toward a BSN is strongly preferred.
• A BSN may be required for specific assignments. Experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the assigned department or unit.
• Collaborate as part of the healthcare team under the direction of the clinical manager or designee.
• Adhere to the Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses.
• Perform all aspects of the nursing process: assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Follow established Legacy Health System standards, including patient assessment protocols and patient transfer procedures.
