About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) primarily on the Respiratory unit, which admits COVID patients. The RN may also be required to float to various Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. The role requires proficiency in Epic EMR, a current BLS certification, and an Ohio RN license. A minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience is mandatory, including the ability to read Telemetry, as a competency test will be administered on the first day.
Requirements
- Current Epic EMR proficiency (refresher classes or 1:1 training are not options).
- Active BLS certification.
- Active Ohio RN license.
- Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
- Ability to read Telemetry and pass a competency test on day one.
Responsibilities
- Work primarily on the Respiratory unit (where COVID patients are admitted).
- Float occasionally between various Med-Surg units (Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, etc.).
- Work 36 hours per week on the night shift (7p - 7:30a).
- Work every other weekend.
- Be proficient in Epic EMR.
- Possess current BLS and Ohio RN license.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
- Be able to read Telemetry and pass a competency test on day one.
Benefits
- Total weekly gross pay of $2088
- Hourly rate of $58/hour ($25/hour W-2 taxable, $33/hour non-taxable stipend)
