About The Position
Thank you for considering a career at Mercy Health! This role is for the RN Residency - New Grad Registered Nurse position at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. The GROW Strong RN New Grad Residency Program is designed to align with QSEN competencies and ANCC Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) requirements. Enrollment is rolling, with nurses beginning the program within 30-45 days of hire. The program offers specialty clinical practice tracks for hands-on skills practice and has been condensed to be completed in 6-8 months. Requirements
- Recent graduate from an accredited nursing program who has successfully completed all requirements to obtain a nursing license.
- RN student enrolled in the final semester of an accredited nursing program with a set graduation date.
- Must be interested in roles at Mercy Health - St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the GROW Strong RN New Grad Residency Program.
- Engage in specialty clinical practice tracks for hands-on skills practice.
- Complete the residency program within 6-8 months.
- Adhere to department policies regarding weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation.
- Abide by all Federal and State laws, as well as, the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
