About The Position

The Community at Rockhill, a Grace Inspired Living community located in Sellersville, PA, is seeking a Full-Time 11pm-7am Relief RN Nurse Supervisor. This role involves overseeing the overall function of the nursing shift to ensure a high-quality, respectful environment for residents. The position is split between working as an RN Relief Supervisor and a Med Nurse on certain nights. The Community at Rockhill, founded in 1935, is a Life Plan Community offering a continuum of care including Residential Living, Personal Care, and Health Care. Grace Inspired Living is dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults through supportive communities and services.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse degree
  • 1 year experience specific to long term care or 2 years nursing experience
  • Current Registered Nurse licensed in the State of PA.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • 3 years experience with 1 year long term care supervisory experience
  • Current Registered Nurse licensed in the State of PA.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall function of the nursing shift ensuring a quality, respectful environment for the residents.
  • Organize, supervise and evaluate resident care including overseeing the function of the respective shift.
  • Review verbal information and written documentation from previous shifts.
  • Communicate resident updates with physicians, families, nursing team and other departments, as necessary.
  • Prioritize needs of residents.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, deaths, as appropriate with the respective shift.
  • Assist with physician orders/reviews, nursing assessments and care planning.
  • Address staffing issues as they occur.
  • Address resident, family, staff, vendor concerns as they arise.
  • Assist with staff education/training, as needed or directed, and provide counseling and coaching as needed.
  • Assist with performance evaluations on the respective shift for the nurse aides and nurses.
  • Maintain communication between staff and Director of Nursing and department heads by attending meetings, trainings, and through email, phone, or in person.
  • Participate in wound assessments and care.
  • Assist in regulatory based tasks (including resident matrix updates, audits, etc) as assigned.
