Requirements

• Licensed registered nurse in the State of Indiana
• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
• Pass the physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility
• Professional manner and appearance
• Competent in supervision and leadership
• Caring attitude
• Observant
• Good judgement and emotional stability
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Supervision and leadership
• Administration of medication, possible side effects, treatment administration, local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices
• Understanding of physical, psychological, social and medical needs of residents
• Understanding of organizational structure and duties of employees under supervision of unit manager
• Foster and maintain a good working relationship with other staff
