About The Position
The RN Psych will work on a child and adolescent unit serving patients ages 5–18 who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis. The unit focuses on stabilization through group offerings, including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups, as well as psychopharmacological interventions. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals and provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care. This is a 13-week assignment in Rochester, New York, with a stated start date of December 7, 2026. The schedule is straight nights, 12 hours per day, three days per week, for 36 hours weekly.
Requirements
- NYS RN License
- Two years of pediatric mental health experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
