About The Position
Hiring for RN Psych in Danville, PA. This is a position at a beautiful, brand new facility that opened in August of 2025. The facility has 96 total beds and has just opened a second unit with 31 beds, with plans to expand to 120 beds and include adolescents in September of 2026. The facility uses EPIC EMR and Handle w/ Care Psych Cert. Candidates with strong critical thinking and situational awareness are desired. Familiarity with 12 min checks w/ Observe Smart is a plus. Seclusion and Chemical Restraints are used when needed.
Requirements
- RN Psych experience.
- Strong Critical Thinking skills.
- Strong Situational Awareness skills.
- Current Handle w/ Care Psych Cert (can be obtained on-site).
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with 12 min checks w/ Observe Smart.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to psychiatric patients.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation.
- Perform 12-minute checks with Observe Smart.
- Administer seclusion and chemical restraints when necessary.
Benefits
- Pay rate: $1800 total weekly gross
- $50/hour ($19/hour w-2 taxable, $31/hour non-taxable stipend)
