RN PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Full Time
About The Position
Sierra Medical Center is seeking a full-time RN Program Coordinator to provide direct patient care to adult patient populations within the surgical environment. This role involves addressing psychosocial and physical needs, communicating with physicians and vendors regarding supplies, assessing operating rooms for readiness, and monitoring patients during procedures. The RN Program Coordinator will function as a team member and resource for the Surgical Services Department, participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. The position is 40 hours per week and offers full benefits and a convenient schedule.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Nevada.
- Minimum of three (3) years Operating Room Experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for specified service line, including supply management, physician relations and satisfaction, vendor relations, and education of staff.
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other health team members as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
- Functions as a liaison to service specific vendors, coordinating flow of materials and collaborating with Sterile Processing to ensure patient and physician needs are met.
- Assists in policy review and physician order sets.
- Trains all nursing staff in the specific service line.
