About The Position

Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, patient care services department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license.
• BCLS required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience required for PRN employees

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS and PALS preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months from date of hire/transfer.
• Certification in area of expertise recommended.
• previous experience caring for surgical patients preferred.
