About The Position

This is a PRN (As Needed) Night Shift position for a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN III in the Medical-Surgical unit on the 3rd Floor South. The unit typically ranges from 18-22 patients. The role involves responding to patients' basic human needs, showing human respect, understanding their frame of reference, engaging families, mutual problem-solving, attentive reassurance, maintaining an encouraging manner, creating a healing environment, and working collaboratively as a team.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma required
Associate's Degree Nursing required
1 year experience as a registered nurse required
RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
2+ years of inpatient RN experience preferred
