About The Position

The RN Staff Nurse delivers competent, individualized nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process to support the established medical plan of treatment. Working as part of a team, the nurse applies clinical judgment and evidence-based decision-making to meet each patient’s needs. The role emphasizes patient safety, advocacy, collaborative practice, professional communication, and exceptional customer relations and service excellence.

The unit includes 18 Prep beds, 6 PACU beds, 4 operating rooms, and 3 GI rooms. This is a part-time day position; exact days and times will be determined during the interview. Participation in an on-call rotation is required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of direct nursing experience.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Active, unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Maintain a primary residence in Texas throughout employment.
• Maintain all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.
