About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a staff Registered Nurse to join a hospital-based team at Capital Medical Center. The nurse will use specialized training, knowledge, and nursing care in a multidisciplinary setting. The position is part of MultiCare’s effort to support nurses’ involvement in clinical decision-making, professional development, and open communication. The role is listed at 0.9 FTE, with a day shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
• Certification in a specialty area.
• One year of experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
• Use nursing education and experience to deliver care through the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience and reduce costs.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other health care team members.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
