About The Position

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Patient Centered Care provides the foundation for all nursing care, and the nurse demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

The position is at George Washington University Hospital, a tertiary care academic medical center in downtown Washington, DC. The hospital provides care in areas including women’s health and has a Level I Trauma Center and Level III NICU.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification in the required specialty, or obtain it within three months of employment.
• BLS certification.
• Current state nursing license.

Nice To Haves

• One year of full-time postpartum experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
