About The Position

This role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional specialty nursing care for patients in an outpatient cardiology setting. The Registered Nurse will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Responsibilities include administering nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, and potentially advising patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, or providing case management.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred, but not required.
• 2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
