About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality pre- and post-operative care in a Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care, with PACU experience preferred. This role requires clinical excellence, critical thinking, and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS Certification (must be current or able to recertify)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent pediatric or acute care experience in a comparable hospital setting
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
• Prior Pediatric PACU experience

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective pre- and post-operative nursing care for pediatric patients in the PACU
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and implement appropriate interventions for pediatric critical care patients
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage patient recovery with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiology, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements
