About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab provides specialized, patient-centered nursing care using sound clinical judgment and professional nursing standards. This role delivers high-quality care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, in accordance with ANA standards and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The RN practices culturally competent, age-appropriate care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Requirements
- Diploma of Nursing
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
- BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive patient care
- Educate patients and families throughout the care continuum
- Communicate effectively while maintaining strict patient confidentiality
- Demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, and ongoing clinical development
- Collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary, high-acuity setting
