About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, high-quality nursing care to individuals and groups of patients in a progressive care/stepdown setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, specialized nursing skills, and a patient-centered approach. Care is delivered through collaboration with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary healthcare team, while adhering to professional nursing standards and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing (required)
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS – American Heart Association
• ACLS – American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Provide age-appropriate, culturally competent nursing care and patient education
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow appropriate communication protocols
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
• Support professional development and maintain clinical competency
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
