The Outpatient Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adolescent and adult outpatients treated for psychiatric, emotional disorders and/or addictive behaviors. This role involves actively and constructively serving as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program/unit philosophy of care, and ensuring the safety and well-being of each patient. The Outpatient RN is in charge of the PHP activities for each shift. The Outpatient RN administers prescribed medications and provides medication and other educational groups.
