About The Position
The Registered Nurse PRN Pre/Post Outpatient Surgery Center provides nursing care in the preoperative and postoperative areas. The role requires strong clinical knowledge and skills related to the perioperative experience, good organizational skills, the ability to multitask amid frequent interruptions, flexible working hours, and a positive attitude with good communication skills. The nurse must be willing and capable of working in both pre-op and post-op areas and be committed to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky nursing license.
- BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Proficiency in starting IVs.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills regarding the perioperative experience.
- Good organizational and communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
Nice To Haves
- Previous preoperative or postoperative experience.
- Critical care or telemetry experience.
