About The Position
The Registered Nurse PRN Pre/Post Outpatient Surgery Center role requires strong clinical knowledge and skills regarding the perioperative experience. The nurse must be organized, able to multitask amid frequent interruptions, flexible with working hours, and maintain a positive attitude and good communication skills. The role requires willingness and ability to work in both pre-op and post-op areas, commitment to high-quality patient care, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky nursing license.
- BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Proficiency in starting IVs.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills regarding the perioperative experience.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills, including the ability to manage frequent interruptions.
- Flexible working hours.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous pre-op or post-op experience.
- Critical care or telemetry experience.
