About The Position

An operating room RN is needed for an assignment in Geneva, New York. The assignment is 13 weeks, beginning November 18, 2026. The schedule is four 9-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, Monday through Friday. The nurse will take one day of on-call duty each week from Monday through Thursday, plus three weekend on-call assignments during the first contract period (Friday through Monday). Circulator experience is required. The RN must be able to circulate across the listed orthopedic, general surgery, urology, ENT, GI, spine, ophthalmology, and podiatry service lines.

Requirements

• Circulator experience.
• ACLS certification through AHA/RQI.
• BLS certification through AHA/RQI.
• PALS certification through AHA/RQI.
• STROKE qualification or certification (as stated in the posting).
• Ability to circulate for the listed service lines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for orthopedic procedures, including total joint replacements, orthopedic trauma, sports medicine shoulder and knee arthroscopies, upper-extremity procedures, and open or endoscopic hand, finger, and nerve-repair procedures.
• Circulate for laparoscopic and open general surgery.
• Circulate for urology procedures, including procedures using a litho laser.
• Circulate for pediatric ENT procedures, including PE tubes, tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies, septoplasties, and FESS with and without navigation.
• Circulate for GI procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, and dilatations.
• Circulate for spine procedures, including ACDF, lumbar fusions, discectomies, kyphoplasties, and posterior cervical fusions.
• Circulate for ophthalmology cataract procedures using a microscope and phaco machine.
• Circulate for podiatry procedures, including sports-medicine-like procedures and open and endoscopic procedures.
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage, including one weekday on-call day per week and three Friday-through-Monday weekend on-call assignments during the first contract period.
