About The Position

The Clinical Nurse is a key member of the surgical team who functions in a circulating and scrubbing capacity. Services lines we provide include: General surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain and endoscopy procedures. Our nurses provide specialized care for all these services. The Surgical Services department has 2 operating rooms and a procedure room. We provide mostly outpatient procedures with limited inpatient. We provide care to patients ages 16 and older. This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement. Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks (if scheduled/needed): Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after. 8hrs non-billable orientation. Call-back, Holiday and OT multipliers: 1.25%. Call: 4/hour. Charge: 3/hr.

Requirements

Cataract experience required - non-negotiable.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience.
Scrubbing and circulating experience - BOTH specialty skill checklists MUST be in profile.
Experience working in a smaller OR facility.
Phase I/PACU experience.
Multiple surgical experience.
Cerner EMR experience.
Must have their own vehicle.
BLS (AHA) certification.
ACLS (AHA) certification.
Vermont State License.
Willing to obtain VT License prior to start.
Perm address must be included in traveler profile.
Any/All RTO must be included in profile.
ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION.
