About The Position
Lehigh Valley Academy is seeking an RN or LPN for LVA's Health Rooms. This position is a full-time, benefits eligible during the school year.
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania RN or LPN license required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Lehigh Valley Academy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and health services to students and staff, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency care as needed.
- Assess and evaluate the health needs of students, making appropriate referrals and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for students and staff, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student health concerns and issues.
- Work collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, and staff to support a safe and healthy school environment.
- Provide health education and resources to students and staff as needed.
