RN or LPN Surgical Inpatient FT Days
About The Position
Seeking Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse for the Surgical Inpatient Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) with day shifts (7 am-7 pm) and is benefit eligible. In this role, the RN or LPN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. Surgical Inpatient Services (SIPS) is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients, including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions from the emergency room or a physician’s office. SIPS is a suitable unit for New Graduate LPNs and RNs seeking exposure to a wide variety of patients.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license
- BLS for Healthcare provider required
