RN or LPN Surgical Inpatient FT Days
About The Position
Seeking Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse for the Surgical Inpatient Unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) with day shifts (7 am-7 pm) and is benefit eligible. The RN or LPN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The Surgical Inpatient Services (SIPS) unit is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients, including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions from the emergency room or a physician's office. SIPS is a suitable unit for New Graduate LPNs and RNs seeking exposure to a wide variety of patients.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license
- BLS for Healthcare provider required
