About The Position

Position Highlights: Sign-on Bonus: This job qualifies for a $15,000 sign–on bonus, provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements. Shift Schedule: 3-12 or 4-10 scheduling options available Department: Surgical Services Float Pool Location: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist region

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of one year Operating Room experience or participation in a post-graduate program required.
  • Refresher course required for nurses who have not worked in an Operating Room for five years or more.
  • Current licensures to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • BCLS required.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of experience strongly preferred.
  • CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care is provided throughout the episode of care.
  • Ensures complete, accurate and timely computerized communication of patient information.
  • Demonstrates cost containment activities.
  • Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients and family members in an effective, positive, and professional manner.
  • Takes personal responsibility and initiative for performance and for professional growth and development.
