About The Position
An opportunity to join Trinity Health Livonia, a full-service, 304-bed acute care hospital located in Livonia, MI. The hospital provides comprehensive care, including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care unit, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics, and birthing and women's health. Trinity Health Livonia has received numerous awards for excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, financial performance, and efficiency. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. This includes coordination and evaluation of care, teaching, and delegation of patient activities to other healthcare team members through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing required
- Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required
- BLS required
- Must be computer proficient
- Excellent customer service skills
- Minimum two years' work experience as an RN on a medical/surgical type unit (for the Med/Surg Pool) or minimum two years' work experience as an RN in an ICU or Critical Care unit (for the Critical Care Pool)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years
- Previous medical surgical experience preferred
