About The Position

This role requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Operating Room (OR) circulation and scrubbing. The position mandates a COVID vaccine and a minimum of two years of relevant experience. The RN will be responsible for assessing patients before surgery, preparing the OR with all necessary supplies and equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, assisting surgeons by passing instruments, monitoring patient vital signs during the procedure, evaluating postoperative patients, and ensuring chart completeness according to documentation protocols. Adherence to all health and safety standards is crucial.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• COVID Vaccine - Required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s condition before surgery.
• Ensure that the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Keep the operating room sterilized.
• Pass medical instruments to the surgeons during operation.
• Monitor patient’s vital signs.
• Evaluate postoperative patients.
• Reviews charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards.
