About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room provides essential nursing care for patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process. This role requires an experienced professional to ensure high-quality patient care within a diverse surgical environment.

Requirements

• Active CO RN License or Compact RN License in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Current Flu Vaccine is required; no exemptions allowed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care during surgical procedures, monitoring patient status and responding to changes.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment and equipment.
• Provide support for patient and family members by addressing concerns and offering information related to the surgical process.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain skill proficiency and knowledge of best practices in surgical nursing.
