About The Position
Nemours is seeking a RN (Operating Room) to join our Nemours Children's Hospital team in Orlando, Florida. This position involves three 12-hour shifts, from 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM, with weekend rotation and regular and holiday call requirements. The call response time is 30 minutes. The days of the week are variable depending on the needs of the department, and holiday and weekend rotations are required as per departmental needs. Nemours Children’s Hospital, located in Orlando, Fla., is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. It is a 100-bed pediatric hospital featuring the area’s only 24-hour Emergency Department designed specifically for children, as well as outpatient pediatric clinics with several specialties previously unavailable in the region. The hospital was designed by families for families, blending the healing power of nature with healthcare innovation to deliver world-class care to children in Central Florida and beyond. Nemours also provides specialty outpatient care in several clinics throughout the region.
Requirements
- ASN required
- Active Florida or multi-state RN license, required
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience required
- Valid American Heart Association BLS Certification (must be valid for 90 days post start date)
- Valid American Heart Association PALS
Nice To Haves
- National certification in area of clinical specialty
- Experience in pediatric specialty area
