Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in New Jersey.
- Completion of I.V. certification, Phlebotomy certification and Chemotherapy competency as per hospital policy.
- Maintain current American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider and maintain current American Heart Association certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. (BLS,ACLS)
- Recertification is required every two years.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required
Nice To Haves
- Previous medical/surgical-oncology experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- To deliver nursing care to adult and geriatric patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Functions as a professional nurse and delegates patient care to those under his/her supervision.
