RN-Oncology (Full-time, Day Shift)

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in New Jersey.
- Completion of I.V. certification, Phlebotomy certification and Chemotherapy competency as per hospital policy.
- Maintain current American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider and maintain current American Heart Association certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. (BLS,ACLS) Recertification is required every two years.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required
- Influenza Vaccination is a requirement for employment. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date, during the influenza season, unless you request and receive an approved medical exemption.
Nice To Haves
- Previous medical/surgical-oncology experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- To deliver nursing care to adult and geriatric patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Functions as a professional nurse and delegates patient care to those under his/her supervision.
