7 on - 7 off RN on Call
About The Position
Seeking an experienced RN to manage the after hours nursing needs of our patients and families. The On-Call Nurse responds to after hours phone calls promptly and appropriately, and makes patient visits as necessary. This is a Full Time On Call position with a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule. Phoenix Home Care came to be as a result of our commitment to improve the quality of life of the people we serve. Each of our principals has experienced the need for home care for a loved one. Requirements
- Kansas Nursing License
- Strong organizational and self-management skills
- Strong and compassionate customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Hospice experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Carrying out physician orders
- Informing the physician of changes in the patient’s condition and needs
- Communicating with medical professionals, the hospice team and others
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records
- Providing services in accordance with agency policies and regulations that define scope of practice
- Participating in in-service programs
- Demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills
