About The Position

Elderwood at Hamburg is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for our 12-hour night shift. In this role, you’ll provide clinical oversight, guide and support nursing staff, and help ensure residents receive coordinated, high-quality care throughout the night. You’ll partner closely with an experienced Director of Nursing while leading a team caring for residents with post-acute, higher-acuity, and complex medical needs. This is an opportunity to strengthen your nursing leadership experience while remaining connected to direct clinical care.

Requirements

  • Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
  • Interest or experience in geriatrics
  • Current BLS/CPR
  • Experience with dementia population desirable
  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
  • In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership while ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence throughout your shift.
  • Serve as the nursing leader on duty, supporting clinical decision-making, mentoring team members, coordinating resident care, and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and compassion.
  • Lead and support nursing staff during your assigned shift.
  • Provide clinical guidance and mentoring to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
  • Coordinate resident care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Respond to clinical issues and changing resident needs.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Promote quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and clinical oversight.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
