About The Position

Chase City Health & Rehab Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated RN Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. The RN Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical support and oversight to licensed nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other clinical staff while ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care.

Requirements

  • Current Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing required
  • Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service abilities
  • Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two years of nursing leadership, management, long-term care, post-acute care, acute care, or urgent care experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct licensed nurses, CNAs, and other clinical team members
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, physician extenders, pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare partners
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment
  • Support and participate in the facility's Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program
  • Assist with clinical education, staff development, and in-service training
  • Direct and oversee the delivery of resident care to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct resident assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions when needed
  • Communicate significant changes in resident condition to physicians, families, and appropriate healthcare team members
  • Perform routine chart audits to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
  • Review physician orders, laboratory results, and pharmacy reports and ensure appropriate follow-up
  • Address resident, family, and staff concerns promptly and professionally
  • Complete incident and accident reports and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions
  • Participate in clinical rounds and interdisciplinary care planning meetings
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
  • Ensure resident rooms are prepared appropriately for new admissions
  • Perform skilled nursing procedures as needed within scope of practice
