About The Position
This position will support the development of a new Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Department by providing education and training to nursing staff. The selected candidate will play a key role in preparing nurses for cardiac cath procedures and ensuring clinical competency.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
- Strong clinical nursing background
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited nursing program
- Active New York State RN License
- Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration through NYSED
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- Experience educating, training, or mentoring clinical staff preferred
- Master's Degree in Education required
