About The Position
The Level II Registered Nurse provides competent nursing care based on established standards through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence-based practice. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the nurse may take on an expanded role that includes charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. This is a 13-week assignment in Rochester, New York, scheduled for 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week). The schedule may include days, evenings, or nights. Weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties are required as needed by the unit. The stated gross weekly pay is $2,484 for 36 hours, consisting of $27 per hour taxable W-2 pay and a $42 per hour non-taxable stipend.
Requirements
- New York State RN.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Telemetry experience.
- Two years of Med Surg experience.
- NIHSS.
