RN NICU Full Time Days - $10,000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) is an acute care facility that has served the Hollywood community and surrounding areas since 1924. It is committed to providing quality medical and nursing care to local multicultural communities. HPMC has more than 500 physicians representing nearly every specialty and is part of a global healthcare enterprise that operates hospitals and research centers in Korea and the United States, as well as a medical university and CHAUM, an anti-aging life center. Reporting to the Director of Women and Children Services, the RN NICU is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high-quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. This is a full-time day-shift position with 12-hour shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., totaling 36 hours per week and 72 hours biweekly. The posting offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Graduate of a registered nursing program.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a union environment.
- Valid California State Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) or American Heart Association (AHA).
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Baby Assessment certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Los Angeles County Fire Card required within 30 days of hire.
- Assault Response Competency (ARC) required within 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of recent experience in an acute care setting.
- Two years of experience in a Nursery/NICU setting.
