About The Position

The NICU RN provides safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to neonates requiring specialized care in a Level II NICU. The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for newborns with medical conditions requiring intermediate-level neonatal care. The RN collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes while providing family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for newborns requiring intermediate-level neonatal care.
• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to neonates in a Level II NICU.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide family-centered care.
