About The Position

RN required for NICU unit in Ogden, Utah, working night shifts. The position is within a Level III NICU with 17 beds and capacity for up to 22. The unit uses Meditech and paper flow sheets for documentation and requires scheduling for three shifts per week with every other weekend required. Prefer candidates with at least one year of NICU experience in a Level III setting.

Requirements

• Ability to work with families and narrate care to inform parents.
• Advanced skills in IV placement, Neonatal Abstinence Scoring, and hypoglycemia management.
• RN License
• BLS
• NRP
• STABLE
• PALS

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of NICU experience in a Level III setting.

Responsibilities

• Work with families during stressful hospitalizations and communicate effectively with them.
• Interact with physicians to report changes in patient condition.
• Perform neonatal-specific care, including ROP exams and assisting MD with procedures like intubation and central line placements.
