About The Position
St. Luke’s is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Boise Neurosurgery Clinic. The RN supports patients through complex surgical journeys by providing patient-centered care and clinical support. The clinic is located at Boise Medical Center. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends or holidays.
Requirements
- Nursing degree.
- One year of experience.
- Current RN licensure from the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Room and prepare patients for exams and procedures.
- Obtain and document patient information, including vital signs and medical history.
- Provide clinical and technical support to providers during patient visits and minor procedures.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures within scope of practice.
- Process prescription refills and enter provider-directed orders.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical areas.
- Support patient care coordination, including surgery scheduling and other clinic needs as assigned.
