About The Position

West Penn’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 63 bed Level III Nursery that treats critically ill infants from more than 200 communities throughout western PA, Ohio, and West Virginia. This unit has private rooms that allow family members to sleep-in with their babies, and also has 3 couplet rooms for twins. They have the ability to care for our critically ill infants, along with our feeders/growers population within the unit. They are nationally recognized for their burn care, and the only pediatric burn center in western Pennsylvania to be verified by the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeons. Requirements

Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

Assesses patient reports/records change of condition and notifies physician and/or supervisor and intervenes appropriately and documents accordingly.
