About The Position

The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. The role includes patient assessment and reassessment, developing and implementing plans of care, evaluating interventions, and documenting care. The nurse may float to other units, may be required to participate in on-call status, and must meet population-specific competencies and applicable National Patient Safety Goals. The position is a PRN night-shift role at INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, scheduled 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of RN experience.
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Other certifications and competencies required based on service-line skill.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess patients.
• Develop plans of care.
• Implement appropriate patient care interventions.
• Evaluate patient care interventions.
• Manage and document the delivery of patient care.
• Supervise and coordinate licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing patient care, as assigned.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
• Float to other units when required.
• Participate in on-call status when required.
• Adhere to applicable National Patient Safety Goals and universal safety precautions.
