About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates assigned staff’s patient-care activities to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

Graduate from a nursing program.
Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
For Cardiac Telemetry: ACLS certification within 180 days of starting; nurse residents and nurses new to the specialty may complete it within six months of their start date.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
